a week agoI love this place, so happy to have something like this close to us. The chicken is delicious, it's usually ready within 10 minutes. It makes for a great takeout meal without compromising your healthy eating. I don't know what's in that sauce but wow, it's so good, never had anything like it.

2 weeks agoI found Mi Corralito Charbroiled Peruvian Chicken in Chandler, Arizona after reading about it in City Lifestyle Magazine, and I’m so glad I drove up the road to try it. My wife, 4-year-old son, and I ordered the Peruvian ceviche, Papa a la Huancaína, Lomo Saltado, and later took home the Pollo a la Brasa, their whole Peruvian-style rotisserie chicken. Everything tasted like it came from a true scratch kitchen. The flavors were balanced, authentic, and clearly made with care. The owners were present, friendly, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience feel personal. The Lomo Saltado was easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in Chandler. The beef was high quality, perfectly marinated in that classic Peruvian-style sauce, and served with hand-cut fries and perfectly cooked rice. Even though this restaurant is known for its roasted chicken, the Lomo Saltado was a standout and highly recommended. The Peruvian ceviche, made with Mahi Mahi, was incredibly fresh. We ordered it spicy, which I definitely recommend. The heat paired perfectly with the tart, bright leche de tigre, Peruvian corn, crunchy corn, and sweet potato. It was the perfect dish for Arizona summer weather. The Papa a la Huancaína was a great appetizer and served exactly how it should be: cold, creamy, and covered in a flavorful cheese sauce that hit the mark. The food was so good that I regretted not ordering the Peruvian roasted chicken, so we got a whole chicken to go. As soon as I got home, I had to try it. The seasoning was deep, rich, and flavorful, and the chicken was tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The skin was incredible and melted in your mouth. This is top-tier Pollo a la Brasa. The location is small and feels more like a takeout spot, but there are a few tables inside if you want to eat fresh. I recommend enjoying dishes like the ceviche, Lomo Saltado, and Papa a la Huancaína in-house, then taking the roasted chicken home (FYI: they have a $41 Whole Chicken Combo with 2 sides and a 2 liter). Prices were very reasonable for authentic Peruvian food made from scratch, and there was plenty of parking right in front. If you’re looking for Peruvian food in Chandler, charbroiled chicken, Lomo Saltado, Peruvian ceviche, or a great local restaurant near Chandler/Ahwatukee/Gilbert, Mi Corralito is absolutely worth trying. Highly recommend.

a month agoThe chicken was so juicy and flavorful. I completely demolished my half chicken order with rice, yucca fries, and plantains. Everything tasted absolutely delicious. The sauces were excellent too. This is one of my new favorite restaurants in Chandler.

2 months agoDelicious rotisserie chicken, very good fries and rice, friendly family business, we will be back to try other things. Three indoor tables with four chairs each and a small bar seating. Great.

2 months agoMy wife and I love this place so much! We swing by there almost every Sunday. They give you generous proportion's of food, I always order the Ceviche, Rotisserie chicken and Lomo Saltado and it's so good! They usually have our order on time when I call for a to go order. If you have the chance, try empanadas de Carne. Very good too. I recommend this place 100%.

3 months ago[4.7/5] Tasty, distinct flavors - Chicken was well cooked and nicely seasoned - Fried rice is amazing - Fried yucca was crispy and fluffy on the inside - Hot sauce pairing is required note: I see complaints about the chicken being dry. While some areas will naturally be drier than others, its due to the cooking method. The chicken is still good and falls off the bone nicely.

4 months agoPicked up a quick to-go dinner here tonight. I got the family meal with a whole chicken, beans and fries and a side order of empanadas de carne. The food was so delicious!! I couldn’t get enough of the green sauce with the chicken! Everything was so flavorful! The empanadas were so good! The prices were very fair too. I will definitely be back for more of everything!!!

4 months agoI found this place on TikTok and saved it as a spot to try, and I’m so glad we finally stopped in. The chicken was absolutely incredible — moist, deeply flavorful, and cooked perfectly. And the rice… wow. The rice deserves special praise. They add something to it that gives this subtle, addictive flavor note — the best way I can describe it is like Peruvian MSG (and I mean that in the best possible way). It’s one of those flavors that keeps pulling you back for another bite without you even realizing it. The pepper sauce is mind-blowing, its a spice pepper not a chili pepper and pairs perfectly with the chicken and fries. The fries were crispy and hot, and the fried yucca and plantains were also excellent — perfectly cooked with great texture and flavor. One of the cutest moments: our Frenchies are very spoiled, and we almost never give them table food unless it’s truly high quality. They were completely ravenous over this chicken, climbing all over me trying to get a bite. It reminded us of the one time my wife made them high-end Sitka salmon — that’s the level this food is on. This was a great memory, thank you! Warm, comforting, incredibly flavorful food. We’ll definitely be back.
